Samsung Galaxy S25 & S25+: Snapdragon 8 Elite, 12GB RAM, AI-Powered Features & Pricing
Samsung has officially unveiled the Galaxy S25 and S25+, introducing significant advancements in both hardware and software.
Samsung Galaxy S25 & S25+ Hardware Enhancements
Both models are powered by the custom Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chipset, delivering a 37% increase in CPU performance, a 30% boost in GPU capabilities, and a 40% faster Neural Processing Unit (NPU) compared to their predecessors.
This performance leap is complemented by a standard 12GB of RAM across all S25 variants, marking the end of the 8GB option.
The Galaxy S25 features a 6.2-inch Full HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, while the S25+ boasts a larger 6.7-inch Quad HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen. Smooth visuals are ensured by the 120Hz refresh rate supported by both displays.
Despite maintaining the same screen sizes as last year’s models, Samsung has managed to reduce the thickness of both phones by 0.4mm and decrease their weight slightly, enhancing portability without compromising battery capacity.
In terms of battery, the Galaxy S25 houses a 4,000mAh battery with 25W wired charging (capable of reaching 50% charge in 30 minutes), while the S25+ is equipped with a 4,900mAh battery supporting 45W wired charging (achieving 65% charge in 30 minutes). Both models also support 15W wireless charging.

Samsung Galaxy S25 & S25+ Camera and AI Features
The camera setups remain consistent with previous models, featuring a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP telephoto lens. The front-facing camera is a 12MP sensor. However, significant improvements have been made in software processing. The ProVisual Engine now enables 10-bit HDR video recording by default and introduces a Galaxy Log function for enhanced video editing flexibility. Additionally, the Audio Eraser feature allows users to remove unwanted noise from videos by categorizing sounds into different types, such as voices, music, wind, and crowd noise.
Samsung Galaxy S25 & S25+ Design and Sustainability
Both the Samsung Galaxy S25 & S25+ feature Armor Aluminum frames incorporating recycled materials, and the batteries contain at least 50% recycled cobalt, reflecting Samsung’s commitment to sustainability. The devices are rated IP68, offering resistance to dust and water submersion up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes.
