RAY Fellowship 2025-2027: The Roger Arliner Young (RAY) Fellowship Program is designed to open doors for aspiring professionals in conservation and clean energy. This initiative provides hands-on experience, mentorship, and leadership training, helping individuals from diverse backgrounds build meaningful careers in these crucial fields. With a strong focus on equity, environmental justice, and social change, the RAY Fellowship empowers the next generation of changemakers.
RAY Fellowship 2025-2027 Opportunities
For the 2025-2027 cohort, the following RAY fellowship positions are available:

Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria)
To be considered for the 2025-2027 RAY Fellowship Cohort (Cohort 10), applicants must:
✔️ Have an undergraduate degree earned after May 2022.
✔️ Be passionate about conservation and/or clean energy.
✔️ Demonstrate a commitment to equity, environmental justice, and social change.
✔️ Have not yet worked full-time in the conservation or clean energy sector.
✔️ Be eligible to work in the United States and commit to the full two-year fellowship.
✔️ DACA recipients are encouraged to apply! While U.S. citizenship is not required, applicants must have valid work authorization (such as DACA, OPT, or permanent residency). RAY Host Organizations do not provide visa sponsorships.
How to Apply? (Clean Energy Fellowship)
Applications for the 2025-2027 RAY Fellowship are now open! Here’s what you need to do:
📌 Complete the 2025 RAY Fellowship Application Form.
📌 Submit proof of enrollment and a resume.
📌 Answer the following application questions:
1️⃣ Personal Experience & Leadership (Max 500 words)
Reflect on your personal journey and how it has influenced your passion for conservation and clean energy.
2️⃣ Future Vision
Imagine the world seven generations from now—a future where today’s environmental challenges have been solved. What does that future look like? How have you played a role in achieving these solutions, and how did the RAY Fellowship help you along the way?
🔹 This response can be submitted in various formats, including written text (max 400 words), artwork, video (max 2 minutes), podcast, or any other creative medium.
🔹 All submissions must be shared via a URL (Google Drive, YouTube, Vimeo, etc.).
📌 Submit your application by March 31, 2025, at 11:59 PM PT.
