Selection Process for Railway Group D Exam Date 2025
The selection of candidates for Railway Group D positions will be based on the following stages:
- Computer-Based Test (CBT 1)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
- Document Verification and Medical Examination

Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Requirements
Candidates who qualify the CBT will be called for PET. The requirements are as follows:
For Male Candidates:
- In two minutes, lift and carry 35 kilograms for 100 meters without stopping.
- Run 1000 meters in 4 minutes and 15 seconds.
For Female Candidates:
- In two minutes, lift and carry 20 kilos for 100 meters without stopping.
- In five minutes and 40 seconds, complete a 1000-meter run.
