DRDO Radiology Scientist Job Details

Post Scientist ‘D’ (Radiology)
Pay Level Level-12 (₹78,800/- as per 7th CPC)
Vacancies 1 (One) at INMAS, Delhi
Tenure 3 years (extendable up to 5 years)
Deputation Allowance Admissible for the first 4 years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead research in radiological imaging at INMAS.
  • Conduct clinical imaging for Armed Forces and DRDO personnel.
  • Mentor students in the DNB-Radio Diagnosis academic program.

DRDO Radiology Scientist Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational & Professional Qualifications

  • Essential:
    • Medical degree listed in Schedules I/II/III of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.
    • Post-Graduate Degree in Radiology/Radiodiagnosis.
    • 7 years of practical + administrative experience in radiology.
    • Experience Requirement: 4 years in Pay Level-11 (₹67,700–2,08,700) or equivalent in parent cadre.
  • Weightage for Higher Qualifications:
    • PG Degree in Radiology = 3 years of research experience.

2. Age Limit

  • Maximum 56 years as on the application deadline.

3. Nationality

  • Only Indian nationals eligible.

4. Experience Guidelines

  • Excluded: Trainee, part-time, daily wage, or guest faculty roles.
  • Experience counted only after acquiring essential qualifications.
