BPR&D Unpaid Internship 2025: The Bureau of Police Research & Development (BPR&D) invites applications for its Unpaid Internship Programme from students pursuing Graduation, Post-Graduation, or Ph.D. in fields such as Criminology, Sociology, Social Work, Psychology, Law, Forensics, Management, and other related disciplines from recognized universities and research institutions. This programme provides an opportunity to understand the role of BPR&D in police and correctional administration reforms. The internship is available at BPR&D Headquarters in New Delhi, as well as at Central Academy for Police Training (CAPT) Bhopal and Central Detective Training Institutes (CDTIs) in Kolkata, Ghaziabad, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru.
BPR&D Unpaid Internship 2025 Application Process
Interested candidates must apply online through the Google Form available at BPR&D Website. After online submission, applicants need to take a printout, obtain a mandatory signature/forwarding from the Head of Department (HOD) of their respective university/institute, and submit the hard copy via post. The submission must include self-attested copies of mark sheets and certificates (semester-wise) along with Annexure-I within 15 days of the application deadline.

Bureau of Police Research & Development Internship Duration & Schedule
BPR&D offers two internship plans:
- One-Month Internship: 30 days, with a minimum of 22 working days.
- Two-Month Internship: 60 days, with a minimum of 44 working days.
The programme includes an introductory session, assigned projects, field visits, submission of reports, and a valediction ceremony. Field visits will cover police stations, correctional homes, and juvenile homes (optional).

BPR&D Unpaid Internship Selection Process
Applications will be reviewed by a Screening Committee. The Selection Committee, comprising officials of BPR&D and relevant training institutes, will finalize candidates. The final list of selected interns will be published on the BPR&D website after approval from the Director General.
